It was also our fifth wedding anniversary! We celebrated on the cruise so yesterday was pretty low key as far as that goes. Troy had the day off so we spent the day together which was exactly what I wanted.
After lunch we had our mid pregnancy ultrasound appointment. The baby was very busy in my belly and luckily he was not shy about showing off the goods and we got a very clear picture that it is indeed a boy! We would have been excited no matter what but we are very excited about a boy. We have such a beautiful and healthy baby girl and we feel like adding a beautiful and healthy baby boy to the mix will just be perfect!
He is already pretty big--over a pound which puts him in the 95th percentile for size! He has big feet too and we got to see him doing lots of cool stuff. He was sucking on his toes, he was opening and closing his mouth a lot, he was playing peek a boo--all kinds of really neat things. Even the ultrasound tech commented on how funny he was being! All appears to be healthy so we will continue to hope it all goes well and we cannot wait to welcome our little man into our family!
