Willkommen und Guten Tag--Welcome and Good Day!

Big Sisters

I love my big sister. I have obviously known her my entire life and she is much more to me than a sister--she is a dear friend. Jodi is always good for a laugh and she is one of the greatest people I know. She is fun loving and sweet and loves to keep busy. I often say that Reese is more her child than mine because much like Jodi she has trouble sitting still for long periods and is always on the move. Whenever I feel overwhelmed with my one kiddo, I think of Jodi and her 4 children and I realize that I can handle it! She multi-tasks like no one else I know and I look up to her in many ways. Although I may not always take her advice I do seek it often and always give it consideration. She is especially good when it comes to questions about fashion and kids (see reference above that she has 4 of them!).

Our relationship has always been a close one but has been very close over the last 10 years. That is when I moved to Charleston and we both had jobs and homes, followed by husbands and children. I had the greatest time when Jodi visited last year in September. Our jaunt around Europe was so fun and I just never thought we would take our daughters to Paris and hang out--it was a very cool moment.

Needless to say our relationship is wonderful and we are close and I'm not sure what I'd do without her. I hope that Reese will feel the same way about becoming a big sister. I hope that she will form a strong bond with her sibling and it will be a lifelong friendship for her as well!

Baby B (named by my sister) will make its debut in late February. We are all very excited and I think Reese is already a very proud big sister!

Yes, I think that baby is flipping us off!

I am very proud of my two daughters and ever so glad that you are so close. We are excited and I printed out the picture of Reese this morning and took it to work to show what was on the way. I never in a million years dreamed that I would be the proud GiGi of six grandchildren--but there is always enough love from PaPa and GiGi to spread around. We can't wait for the new Baby B. Love you all!!

I agree - a new addition to the family is gonna be so exciting. Baby B is already loved and Chapel is so excited. I see another trip to Europe in our not so distant future.
